"The true solution for the problems of Honduras is first of all to understand that God is the One who decides and orders everything." -Honduran President Porfirio Lobo

Honduras(Honduras)—As Latin American Christians joined with thousands of American missionaries in one of Central America's most violent countries, they joined in the cry: "One nation; One day."

The intercession was said to be an answer to prayer for Honduran pastors, who viewed "One Nation, One Day" as a God-given strategy to reach their nation with the Gospel of Christ. It was supported by President Porfirio Lobo.

HondurasAccording to a CBN report, the Honduran government declared the Saturday following the outreach, a national holiday. That day, "simultaneous rallies held in 19 soccer stadiums invited the entire country to follow Christ."

Said President Lobo: "To the 2,000 evangelists who are in Honduras today, I want to thank you in the name of the people of Honduras. The true solution for the problems of Honduras is first of all to understand that God is the One who decides and orders everything."

This is the application of a principle that says God sets up and deposes both kings and kingdoms (Daniel 4).

Specifically, the ancient spokesperson for God who wrote the historical book of Chronicles records God saying that if His people will hear, repent, and pray, that He will heal their land.

"2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

This will work for the US as well.

I believe it would work.

Which prospective candidate for president would utter these words:

“”The true solution for the problems of Honduras is first of all to understand that God is the One who decides and orders everything.” -Honduran President Porfirio Lobo “

My opinion: Cruz would, Perry would, and Palin would.

Maybe THAT’S why Obama and Hillary were so hot in 2009 to subvert the Honduran Constitution, defy the Honduran people, and keep a Hugo Chavez clone in the Presidency.

Exactly. I knew that at the time.

One of the reasons I buy Honduran coffee...to support their economy.

AND

It is excellent coffee. The aroma is as good as it gets anywhere.

I have not been following Honduran political events, but President Loco and the Honduran people appear to have come a long way since the days of the wannabe dictator-for-life, Manuel Zelaya. I have always thought it was extremely revealing when Obama came down on the side of Zelaya in that citizens’ revolution. It was similar to the Morsi eviction that just took place in Egypt.

"...but President Loco and the Honduran people..."

Did you really mean to write, President "Loco"?

Between "President Crazy" and "President Wolf" ... well, it's just the guy's name, he seems okay, really, especially as Central American presidents go.

Honduras is going the way of Mexico with the growing influence of drug cartels, drug labs, trafficking and kidnappings.

My brother-in-law is from Honduras and they would vacation there at least once a year. But now it's become so unsafe that he won't go back except maybe a direct flight to the Bay Islands.

One of his niece's had a son who disappeared along with two of his friends about 3 1/2 years ago. There was no motive, no demand for ransome, nothing. The family suspects that they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.....
